While on the surface, Chaedi is often snarky and sarcastic, beneath it she is a warm and caring individual who in the past used her attitude problems to cover up her insecurities. She has "grown up" recently, and is working on making her inner self more accessible

Previously her only ambition was to cause trouble, she now works towards patching up the damage of her past, as well as keeping the people of Arianna County safe

Investigation: Chaedi can sit for hours, studying maps and reports and cataloguing and notating the kind of mind-numbing minutia that others find unbearably boring
Song of the Earth: While not quite the warrior that her mother is, Chaedi is closer to her more ancestral roots and can listen to the earth better than all but a few
Criminal Mind: Her history as a troublemaker and problem child has given Chaedi the experience needed to picture problems from the wrong side of the law
Squirrely: Chaedi is nimble and fast, with both an ability to heal quickly and a personal toughness

Seeing her mother sacrifice her freedom in order to save Chaedi's life, seeing one of her friends beaten and another sentenced to death because of her pride, finding her true self and calling.
